Jesus Gave

“And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body. And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying,”
When you go through the gospels, it will amaze you at how many times Jesus gave, he gave of himself, he gave his love, he gave his compassion. He taught his disciples, he forgave sins, he healed the sick, he raised the dead. He gave, and kept giving. In the end he gave his life for you and for me. He gave us salvation and the power to live victoriously each and every day.
The master of giving was our prime example of giving so we need to learn that this walk of faith is a life of giving. We are not a container that remains full, no we give out of every blessing and resource that we have so God will give us more for each new day. Never be afraid that you will not have. Jesus gave his all and his reward was he inherited a family that will live with him forever.
Do not be afraid to give, Jesus was a giver, so are you.
