Better Decisions – Better Quality of Life

“And now, O LORD my God, thou hast made thy servant king instead of David my father: and I am but a little child: I know not how to go out or come in. And thy servant is in the midst of thy people which thou hast chosen, a great people, that cannot be numbered nor counted for multitude. Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this thy so great a people?”
Solomon was chosen as King over Israel after his Father David. He immediately went to God and asked him for wisdom on how to rule his people with wisdom. Actually God came to Solomon in a dream and even in his dream, the request he made pleased God as he did not ask for riches and wealth. What a quality question which resulted in a quality decision. The decision pleased God and Solomon got more than he asked for. The influence of David his father, gave Solomon the courage to respond the way he did. He has seen God do so much for his dad and he was willing to trust the God of his father.
Surround yourself with men and women of integrity and excellence and soon you will start to learn their good habits so you too can make good quality decisions. Your quality decisions, which include asking God for help, will cause you to live in success and also the people that are part of your circle of influence. Seek God for his wisdom and counsel and you will live a better life.
