The Grace for Understanding

Wisdom is important but together with wisdom, we need understanding.

“Understanding will help you avoid harm and injury—both physical and spiritual.”

We need a full understanding of a matter before we can make a decision. We must never allow our emotions to get in the way so we make emotional decisions. There are consequences for every decision we make. An example of this is, a person who suffers from a chronic disease, eg. Diabetes. You are taking medication daily and sometimes twice a day. You suddenly feel that you want to go on a fast. Please consider all the factors before going on the fast. Make sure you are able to take your medication so that you remain healthy. What would happen if you just go ahead and fast and think you can just give up your tablets. God is our healer, but he will use the medication to assist you till you are able to get off the tablets. You need to have understanding of the situation if you just go off the tablets. The results of that would be terrible consequences. This would endanger your life. The super natural power of God is at work in your life, so be wise and get a full understanding of the matter. Likewise in every situation, get wisdom and understanding before making a decision.

The spirit of understanding rests upon you now. You have the spirit of wisdom on your life and this wisdom ignites understanding in your life. Please rest in understanding. You will cause your life to be long and strong.
