Grace to Perceive

“saying, “Men, I perceive that this voyage will end with disaster and much loss, not only of the cargo and ship, but also our lives.”
The above scripture is a record of the time Paul was taken as a prisoner to Rome. He was on a boat with other prisoners and was in chains. He gave them a word where he indicated that he perceived there were going to be tough times. They would face a storm that would almost cost them their lives.
In the midst of the storm, instead of being afraid, Paul was convinced of the power of God to deliver him. He would be delivered but so would the rest of the prisoners be saved. He was so full of the Holy Spirit that he was able to stand firm and confident, knowing that God was well able to keep them, because he was on the boat because God had given him the mission to go to Rome.
Imagine that, in the middle of the storms of life, we have the power to perceive and hear from God. We need to stay firm and peaceful in him so we can get a word that will deliver us and also those around us. Give yourself the time to spend with Jesus. He will tell you things to come and you will not be afraid of anything that would try and harass you.
Be bold and perceive the voice of God in the midst of the storm. You are more than a conqueror.
