Faith Chronicles

A month of daily readings, written by Dr RJ Sing for his church every month from 2007 until his passing in 2024. Pastor Zubeda Sing wrote alongside him, and she continues them today. Each reading has its scripture, the teaching, a confession and the day's Bible reading plan.

In 2021 and 2022 he also wrote daily messages for believers in business and at work — the Marketplace, kept with the rest of his writing on his own site.

The Spirit’s Clear Mandate to Apostle Paul

Pastor Zubeda Sing

“But when God, who had chosen me and set me apart before I was born, and called me through His grace, was pleased to reveal His Son in me so that I might preach Him among the Gentiles [as the good news—the way of salvation], I did not immediately consult with anyone [for guidance regarding God’s call and His revelation to me]. Nor did I [even] go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me; but I went to Arabia and stayed awhile, and afterward returned once more to Damascus” Gal 1 v15-17

Trust in the Kingdom of God – Part 1

“People were bringing little children to Jesus for Him to place His hands on them, but the disciples rebuked them. 14 When Jesus saw this, He was indignant. He said to them, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these. 15 Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the Kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.” 16 And He took the children in His arms, placed His hands on them and Blessed them.” (Mark 10:13-16 – NIV)

Whenever we give a child a gift, he or she receives it with enthusiasm and trust. Likewise, God wants us to approach His Kingdom in the same manner. As adults, many of us try…

Life in the Kingdom of God – Part 2

“And when they had preached the gospel to that city and made many disciples, they returned to Lystra, Iconium, and Antioch, 22 strengthening the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and saying, “We must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God.” (Acts 14:21-22 – NKJV)

As Christians we must be people who regularly pray, hear the Word regularly, meditate on the Word, practice the Word and we must operate in God’s Power. The Kingdom of God operates by Faith…

Developing Your Faith Image – Part 5

“For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.” (Romans 12:3 – NKJV)

What can you believe God for right now? As you use the faith you already have, it will grow until ultimately you will by faith be able to take hold of and experience the…

Developing Your Faith Image – Part 4

“Having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the Word of God which lives and abides forever.” (1 Peter 1:23 – NKJV)

At your spiritual birth a ‘seed’ was deposited or planted within you. The Word seed is derived from the Greek word ‘sperma’ from which we derive our word sperm. At spiritual rebirth the seed…

Developing Your Faith Image – Part 3

“Now to Him Who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, 21 to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” (Ephesians 3:20-21 – NKJV)

Your faith image should encapsulate what God wants you to become. As Kingdom citizens we need to see what God can and will accomplish in, and through us, before we die. Your God given…

Faith to Live By – Part 2

“What is faith? It is the confident assurance that something we want is going to happen. It is the certainty that what we hope for is waiting for us, even though we cannot see it up ahead.” (Hebrews 11:1)

You can also be justified by Faith. Justification is a legal term, to present what is called “Forensic explanation” of the Salvation, the Father has given to us, in Christ. For example: In all…

“What is faith? It is the confident assurance that something we want is going to happen. It is the certainty that what we hope for is waiting for us, even though we cannot see it up ahead.” (Hebrews 11:1)

Faith – it simply means to confide in, so as to be secure without fear. To flee for refuge or take shelter in. It’s to believe or take one at his word, a change…

When Faith Seems Weak, Stand Strong – Part 5

“A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. 12 Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. 13 For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the Heavenly places. 14Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm.” (Ephesians 6:10-13 – NLT)

You must sincerely desire the benefit that you ask of God and as you ask of God in faith, nothing wavering, believe that what is asked is yours. Do not even tolerate for one…
