Faith Chronicles

A month of daily readings, written by Dr RJ Sing for his church every month from 2007 until his passing in 2024. Pastor Zubeda Sing wrote alongside him, and she continues them today. Each reading has its scripture, the teaching, a confession and the day's Bible reading plan.

In 2021 and 2022 he also wrote daily messages for believers in business and at work — the Marketplace, kept with the rest of his writing on his own site.

The Spirit’s Clear Mandate to Apostle Paul

Pastor Zubeda Sing

“But when God, who had chosen me and set me apart before I was born, and called me through His grace, was pleased to reveal His Son in me so that I might preach Him among the Gentiles [as the good news—the way of salvation], I did not immediately consult with anyone [for guidance regarding God’s call and His revelation to me]. Nor did I [even] go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me; but I went to Arabia and stayed awhile, and afterward returned once more to Damascus” Gal 1 v15-17

Faith in Little Things
“No! For unless you are honest in small matters, you won't be in large ones. If you cheat even a little, you won't be honest with greater responsibilities. 11 And if you are untrustworthy about worldly wealth, who will trust you with the true riches of heaven?” (Luke 16:10-11)
We are often prone to assume that the mundane actions of daily life have no spiritual significance and offer no place for the application of our Faith. But scripture actually teaches the opposite. It…

You Are Wise
“All who listen to my instructions and follow them are wise, like a man who builds his house on solid rock.” (Matthew 7:24)
When you sow your seed, you are putting your finances in that ‘rock’. Jesus is the Rock, and when you put your money in the work of Christ, it does not matter which way…

I Shape My World by My Words
“Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” (Matthew 6:31-33 – NKJV)
Your world is shaped by the words you speak. So, once you give voice to negative thoughts, you set in motion all of the elements needed to bring adversity to pass. Instead of speaking…

An Opportunity to Increase
“Jesus said, Truly I tell you, there is no one who has given up and left house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or lands for My sake and for the Gospel’s 30 Who will not receive a hundred times as much now in this time houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions—and in the age to come, eternal life.” (Mark 10:29-30 – AMP)
Money is a central heart issue in the Gospel. The rich young ruler (Mark 10:17) made a profession of Faith, but his money did not follow. Promises of love and discipleship to Jesus are…

God Takes Pleasure in My Prosperity
“Let them shout for joy and rejoice, who favor my vindication and want what is right for me; Let them say continually, “Let the Lord be magnified, who delights and takes pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.” (Psalm 35:27 – AMP)
Giving results in Blessings, not just for the receiver but also for the giver. Jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury: and many that were…

Prosperity Is God’s Will for Me
“Therefore do not be foolish and thoughtless, but understand and firmly grasp what the will of the Lord is.” (Ephesians 5:17 – AMP)
God will never ask us to give more than what He has Blessed us to give. We only need to give according to the grace that is in our lives. This is based on…

The God Who Sees Me (El Roi)
“Then she called the name of the Lord who spoke to her, “You are God Who Sees”; for she said, “Have I not even here [in the wilderness] remained alive after seeing Him [who sees me with understanding and compassion]?” 14 Therefore the well was called Beer-lahai-roi (Well of the Living One Who Sees Me); it is between Kadesh and Bered.” (Genesis 16:13-14 – AMP)
We are encouraged to give joyfully and abundantly. Giving shows our trust in God. Galatians 1:8-9 “Let God's curses fall on anyone, including myself, who preaches any other way to be saved than the…

God, My Mighty Creator (Elohim)
“In the beginning God (Elohim) created [by forming from nothing] the heavens and the earth.” (Genesis 1:1 – AMP)
It is vital that we properly manage the financial resources with which we have been Blessed, and not allow the act of giving to be an issue at all. The Apostle Paul had plenty…

You Are to Seize Your Victory by Force – Part 1
