Faith Chronicles

A month of daily readings, written by Dr RJ Sing for his church every month from 2007 until his passing in 2024. Pastor Zubeda Sing wrote alongside him, and she continues them today. Each reading has its scripture, the teaching, a confession and the day's Bible reading plan.

In 2021 and 2022 he also wrote daily messages for believers in business and at work — the Marketplace, kept with the rest of his writing on his own site.

The Spirit’s Clear Mandate to Apostle Paul

Pastor Zubeda Sing

“But when God, who had chosen me and set me apart before I was born, and called me through His grace, was pleased to reveal His Son in me so that I might preach Him among the Gentiles [as the good news—the way of salvation], I did not immediately consult with anyone [for guidance regarding God’s call and His revelation to me]. Nor did I [even] go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me; but I went to Arabia and stayed awhile, and afterward returned once more to Damascus” Gal 1 v15-17

You Are to Be Consistent
“At dawn of the seventh day they started out again, but this time they went around the city not once, but seven times. The seventh time, as the priests blew a long, loud trumpet blast, Joshua yelled to the people, "Shout! The Lord has given us the city!” (Joshua 6:15-16)
To get a clear picture of what took place when Jericho was captured, we have to read the entire account in the book of Joshua 6:5-16. Here we find that both Joshua and the…

Avoid Entanglement
“No soldier when in service gets entangled in the enterprises of [civilian] life; his aim is to satisfy and please the One Who enlisted him.” (2 Timothy 2:4 – AMP)
As soldiers we must realize it’s not just hard times that are dangerous. Good times are dangerous too. At times when God showers us with a lot of money, we can allow ourselves to…

You Are to Seize Your Victory by Force – Part 2

You Are to Laugh at the Devil
“For a summit conference of the nations has been called to plot against the Lord and His Messiah, Christ the King. 3 "Come, let us break His chains," they say, "and free ourselves from all this slavery to God." 4 But God in heaven merely laughs! He is amused by all their puny plans.” (Psalm 2:2-4)
The Lord is moving mightily upon the Earth. He has Anointed us with a great Anointing to do the work of the Ministry. The Lord is dependant upon His Church. This responsibility is upon…

Use the Name of Jesus
“Who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become so much better than the angels, as He has by inheritance obtained a more excellent Name than they.” (Hebrews 1:3-4 – NKJV)
Jesus received greatness of His Name after the resurrection from the dead. He inherited His Name when He was made alive out of spiritual death. It was after His resurrection that He revealed that…

Forgiving Others
“For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.” (Matthew 6:14-15 – NIV)
One common way in which believers give satan a legal claim in their lives is failing to forgive others. Jesus taught us that we are forgiven by God in the same measure in which…

Your Mind Is the Battleground
“For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. 4 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. 5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” (2 Corinthians 10:3-5 – NIV)
Our Warfare against satan is waged in the spiritual realm. It is tremendously important that we understand where the battle is taking place. Paul used various words in 2 Corinthians to speak of the…
