Faith Chronicles

A month of daily readings, written by Dr RJ Sing for his church every month from 2007 until his passing in 2024. Pastor Zubeda Sing wrote alongside him, and she continues them today. Each reading has its scripture, the teaching, a confession and the day's Bible reading plan.

In 2021 and 2022 he also wrote daily messages for believers in business and at work — the Marketplace, kept with the rest of his writing on his own site.

The Spirit’s Clear Mandate to Apostle Paul

Pastor Zubeda Sing

“But when God, who had chosen me and set me apart before I was born, and called me through His grace, was pleased to reveal His Son in me so that I might preach Him among the Gentiles [as the good news—the way of salvation], I did not immediately consult with anyone [for guidance regarding God’s call and His revelation to me]. Nor did I [even] go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me; but I went to Arabia and stayed awhile, and afterward returned once more to Damascus” Gal 1 v15-17

Trusting God
“Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. 6 In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths.” (Proverbs 3:5-6 – AMP)
If the assumption or philosophy or attitude is that God did not mean what He said. When that position is taken, deterioration sets in like a cancer and is terminal. When you do not…

You Have the Life of God
“So don't be proud of following the wise men of this world. For God has already given you everything you need. 22 He has given you Paul and Apollos and Peter as your helpers. He has given you the whole world to use, and life and even death are your servants. He has given you all of the present and all of the future. All are yours.” (1 Corinthians 3:21-22)
All things are yours. The one who belongs to Christ is a Child of the Most High God and His/Her Father will do anything for them. This is so wonderful. That as you pray…

He Is Your Rewarder
“But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” (Hebrews 11:6 – NKJV)
God is positively your rewarder in this life and also in the life to come. Now Hebrews 11:1 NKJV States, ‘Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not…

5 Keys to Receiving After Sowing Seed – Part 3
“Honor the Lord with your possessions, and with the firstfruits of all your increase; 13 so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine.” (Proverbs 3:9-10 – NKJV)
Key No.4: Be aggressive. Don’t give up when you see opposition and winds of adversity. All you focus on is sowing, harvesting and then talking. Talk your way into victory. Consider the following people:…

Application of the God Kind of Faith – Part 2
“But the righteousness of faith speaks in this way, “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’ (that is, to bring Christ down from above) 7 or, ‘Who will descend into the abyss?’ (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). 8 But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans 10:6-10 – NKJV)
Faith will not work in an unforgiving heart – Mark 11:25-26. Love must be the dominating, motivating force behind all operations of faith and love is the power charge behind the God kind of…

Application of the God Kind of Faith – Part 1

You Have Supernatural Help
“For we walk by faith [we regulate our lives and conduct ourselves by our conviction or belief respecting man’s relationship to God and divine things, with trust and holy fervor; thus we walk] not by sight or appearance.” (2 Corinthians 5:7 – AMP)
If we want to walk in the now, we cannot ignore God’s revelation for this time. We cannot walk in the present truth with yesterday’s revelation because faith is now, always in the present.…

Angels Are There to Assist You
“And these attesting signs will accompany those who believe: in My name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new languages; 18 They will pick up serpents; and [even] if they drink anything deadly, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will get well.” (Mark 16:17-18 – AMP)
The realm of the impossible is founded on human logic and established in human reason. How do we rise from One Dimension of Faith to a greater One? To go from “faith to faith”…

Good Health Is Your Covenant Right
“But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement [needful to obtain] peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes [that wounded] Him we are healed and made whole.” (Isaiah 53:5 – AMP)
If a doctor diagnoses a sickness, even when God’s Word says we are healed, the human verdict will most often be sickness because this deals with two different realms: the natural and the supernatural.…

Program Your Spirit for Progress
“For as the human body apart from the spirit is lifeless, so faith apart from [its] works of obedience is also dead.” (James 2:26 – AMP)
Faith is the ability given to every believer to believe the unreasonable. Everything God did, as recorded in the Bible, appears unreasonable to human reason. Here are some examples: In the absence of reason,…

Calling Things That Are Not
“Therefore it is of faith that it might be according to grace, so that the promise might be sure to all the seed, not only to those who are of the law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all 17 (as it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations”) in the presence of Him whom he believed—God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did.” (Romans 4:16-17 – NKJV)
Hebrews 11:3 NKJV “By faith we understand that the worlds were framed.” By faith we understand. Note that faith comes first and then understanding. To believe God with human reasoning doesn’t make sense, and…
