Faith Chronicles

A month of daily readings, written by Dr RJ Sing for his church every month from 2007 until his passing in 2024. Pastor Zubeda Sing wrote alongside him, and she continues them today. Each reading has its scripture, the teaching, a confession and the day's Bible reading plan.

In 2021 and 2022 he also wrote daily messages for believers in business and at work — the Marketplace, kept with the rest of his writing on his own site.

The Spirit’s Clear Mandate to Apostle Paul

Pastor Zubeda Sing

“But when God, who had chosen me and set me apart before I was born, and called me through His grace, was pleased to reveal His Son in me so that I might preach Him among the Gentiles [as the good news—the way of salvation], I did not immediately consult with anyone [for guidance regarding God’s call and His revelation to me]. Nor did I [even] go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me; but I went to Arabia and stayed awhile, and afterward returned once more to Damascus” Gal 1 v15-17

    The Prevailing Word

“So the Word of the Lord continued to increase and prevail mightily.” Acts 19:20

The Word takes place of the unseen Christ and meditation in the Word is a visit with Him. The Word becomes a part of one by meditation and therefore the Word living in us…

God’s Will for You Is Success

“God will do this, for he is faithful to do what he says, and he has invited you into partnership with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.” 1 Corinthians 1:9 – NLT

Moses purposed to allow God to work in and through him, and a burning bush experience so affected him that he transformed two million slaves into a powerful nation of God. What a loss…

Special Tests for Special Purposes – Part 6

“For you examine us every morning and test us every moment.” Job 7:18 – NLT

Why is trust so important? Because it reveals our estimate of God’s character. When Adam and Eve yielded to satan’s temptation, their actions spoke louder than any words they might have uttered. They were…

Special Tests for Special Purposes – Part 5

“For you examine us every morning and test us every moment.” Job 7:18 – NLT

Faith leading to obedience is the first stage but the process is not complete until faith had developed into trust. What is the difference between faith and trust? A non-theological answer would be: faith…

Expect Your Miracle – Part 5

“When Jesus then lifted up his eyes, and saw a great company come unto him, he saith unto Philip, Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat? 6 And this he said to prove him: for he himself knew what he would do. 7 Philip answered him, Two hundred pennyworth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may take a little. 8 One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, saith unto him, 9 There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many?” John 6:5-9 – KJV

The third element is to kick doubt out. Once you have believed and acted on your faith, refuse doubt and fear. Refuse to entertain doubt producing thoughts. You deserve a miracle and what Jesus…

Expect Your Miracle – Part 4

“When Jesus then lifted up his eyes, and saw a great company come unto him, he saith unto Philip, Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat? 6 And this he said to prove him: for he himself knew what he would do. 7 Philip answered him, Two hundred pennyworth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may take a little. 8 One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, saith unto him, 9 There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many?” John 6:5-9 – KJV

The second element is to just do. Faith is important but as important as faith is, it’s not enough. You can’t believe on the inside and do nothing on the outside. For faith to…

Expect Your Miracle – Part 3

“When Jesus then lifted up his eyes, and saw a great company come unto him, he saith unto Philip, Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat? 6 And this he said to prove him: for he himself knew what he would do. 7 Philip answered him, Two hundred pennyworth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may take a little. 8 One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, saith unto him, 9 There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many?” John 6:5-9 – KJV

The first element is Faith. Faith in God connects Heaven with a need on earth. Someone must believe that God is willing and able to do it and to do it now. Galatians 3:5…

Expect Your Miracle – Part 2

“When Jesus then lifted up his eyes, and saw a great company come unto him, he saith unto Philip, Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat? 6 And this he said to prove him: for he himself knew what he would do. 7 Philip answered him, Two hundred pennyworth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may take a little. 8 One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, saith unto him, 9 There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many?” John 6:5-9 – KJV

Expect your miracles in the days and months to come. Once you agree with heaven, God goes into action. We must remain in faith and the Word of God. Matthew 19:26 KJV “With men…

    Present Yourself to God

“Study and be eager and do your utmost to present yourself to God approved (tested by trial), a workman who has no cause to be ashamed, correctly analyzing and accurately dividing [rightly handling and skillfully teaching] the Word of Truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15 - AMP

Whether you are in public or functioning in private, be a Faith filled Christian. You must pray, read your Bible, go to Church, give your Tithes and Offerings, walk in love and so forth.…

    Release Your Faith

“They went right into the house where he was staying, and Jesus asked them, "Do you believe I can make you see?" "Yes, Lord," they told him, "we do." 29 Then he touched their eyes and said, "Because of your faith it will happen.” Matthew 9:28-29

When Jesus asked the blind man if he believed he replied in the affirmative. Then Jesus touched his eyes and said according to your faith, “let it be to you” when faith is released…

    Faith-Not Feelings

“All who believe this know in their hearts that it is true. If anyone doesn't believe this, he is actually calling God a liar because he doesn't believe what God has said about his Son.” 1 John 5:10

People are continually deceived because they look around and are subject to their feelings. God found you in the world and when He got you, He gave you to Jesus. The Lord Jesus then…

    Without Offense

“Because of this, I try with all my strength to always maintain a clear conscience before God and man.” Acts 24:16

The thing that can hinder our faith is a conscience that is scared. When we come into the presence of God with a clear conscience and genuine Faith, we then have confidence in God.…
