Present Yourself to God

“Study and be eager and do your utmost to present yourself to God approved (tested by trial), a workman who has no cause to be ashamed, correctly analyzing and accurately dividing [rightly handling and skillfully teaching] the Word of Truth.”
Whether you are in public or functioning in private, be a Faith filled Christian. You must pray, read your Bible, go to Church, give your Tithes and Offerings, walk in love and so forth. These are the basic ingredients of Christianity. This is what it means to present yourself to God as one approved.
Remember that real Faith involves action and action means demonstrating your Faith openly, (James 2:20). Don’t try to get spiritual only when trouble comes. Be consistent and present yourself daily. Now let us consider some steps that will help you be strong and prevent you from falling.
Step No 1: You must study. This involves reading and digging into God’s Word. Use Study Guides, participate in Bible Studies, Life Groups and listen to tapes, Cds etc. Step No 2: You need to present yourself, where God’s Word is being preached, Romans 10:17, says, “Faith cometh by hearing.”
This is talking about the preached Word. Step No 3: You must start speaking God’s Word out boldly. Find a promise that applies to your situation and then speak it aloud in Faith. This will give you Results.
