Faith Chronicles

A month of daily readings, written by Dr RJ Sing for his church every month from 2007 until his passing in 2024. Pastor Zubeda Sing wrote alongside him, and she continues them today. Each reading has its scripture, the teaching, a confession and the day's Bible reading plan.

In 2021 and 2022 he also wrote daily messages for believers in business and at work — the Marketplace, kept with the rest of his writing on his own site.

The Spirit’s Clear Mandate to Apostle Paul

Pastor Zubeda Sing

“But when God, who had chosen me and set me apart before I was born, and called me through His grace, was pleased to reveal His Son in me so that I might preach Him among the Gentiles [as the good news—the way of salvation], I did not immediately consult with anyone [for guidance regarding God’s call and His revelation to me]. Nor did I [even] go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me; but I went to Arabia and stayed awhile, and afterward returned once more to Damascus” Gal 1 v15-17

    Working Together Makes Things Better

Have you heard the saying, ‘Many hands make light work?’ How true it is. Think about how powerful things could be in your church if everyone was heading in the same direction in one…

The Mercy of God – Part 6

“All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our sinful nature and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature objects of wrath. 4But because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions it is by grace you have been saved.” (Ephesians 2:3-5 – NIV)

Don’t be reluctant to show mercy. 2 Corinthians 2:7 CEV “When people sin, you should forgive and comfort them, so they won't give up in despair.” We all need mercy, because we all stumble…

Look for Ways to Be a Blessing

“In everything I have pointed out to you [by example] that, by working diligently in this manner, we ought to assist the weak, being mindful of the words of the Lord Jesus, how He Himself said, It is more blessed (makes one happier and more to be envied) to give than to receive.” (Acts 20:35 Amp)

Many times we have a tendency to look for ways to be blessed. Rather, we should be looking for ways to be a Blessing. Of Course, you know as I do that the best…

    Christ’s Gift to You

“However, Christ has given each of us special abilities whatever he wants us to have out of his rich storehouse of gifts.” Ephesians 4:7

The apostle Paul spoke about the grace and the gifts of Christ. You are joined to Christ’s body the moment you believe. For example, children of parents have different names, but the moment they…

Jesus, the Head of the Body

“And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the pre-eminence.” Colossians 1:18 - KJV

The firstborn among many brethren, “For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many bretheran.” Romans 8:29.…

    Finding Your Place

“From Whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love” Ephesians 4:16

There is another important stage in achieving acceptance, and that is receiving acceptance from God’s people. This means finding your place in the body of Christ. You see, as Christians, we are never isolated…

    My Specific Place

“For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the measure of faith God has given you.” Romans 12:3

Jesus said that if we have “faith as a mustard seed,” we can move a mountain. It is not the quantity of your Faith, but rather the quality, that matters. Faith is given to…
