Faith Chronicles

A month of daily readings, written by Dr RJ Sing for his church every month from 2007 until his passing in 2024. Pastor Zubeda Sing wrote alongside him, and she continues them today. Each reading has its scripture, the teaching, a confession and the day's Bible reading plan.

In 2021 and 2022 he also wrote daily messages for believers in business and at work — the Marketplace, kept with the rest of his writing on his own site.

The Spirit’s Clear Mandate to Apostle Paul

Pastor Zubeda Sing

“But when God, who had chosen me and set me apart before I was born, and called me through His grace, was pleased to reveal His Son in me so that I might preach Him among the Gentiles [as the good news—the way of salvation], I did not immediately consult with anyone [for guidance regarding God’s call and His revelation to me]. Nor did I [even] go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me; but I went to Arabia and stayed awhile, and afterward returned once more to Damascus” Gal 1 v15-17

You Are Washed by the Blood

Leviticus 17:11 says, ‘The Life of the Flesh is in the Blood’. When Jesus poured out His Blood, He poured out His Life. As I understand it, the life of God was released into…

    Only Believe

“Then they said to Him, “What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?” 29 Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.” (John 6:28–29 – NKJV)

In the Gospel of John, we find Jesus being asked a question by the multitude who had been awed by His miracles — “What shall we do, that we may work the works of…

    Jesus Is Your Guilt Offering

“And as Jesus, together with His disciples, sat at table in his [Levi’s] house, many tax collectors and persons [definitely stained] with sin were dining with Him, for there were many who walked the same road (followed) with Him.” (Mark 2:15 – AMP)

Guilt does not simply go away. The modern method of denying guilt just postpones it until a later day. Repressed and denied guilt will always surface in anger, bitterness, rejection and failure. God knows…

He Always Lives to Intercede for Us

“Therefore He is able also to save to the uttermost (completely, perfectly, finally, and for all time and eternity) those who come to God through Him, since He is always living to make petition to God and intercede with Him and intervene for them.” (Hebrews 7:25 – AMP)

The high Priest was anointed by the pouring of oil upon his head. In Aaron’s case, it was an amount so profuse that it ‘ran down on Aaron’s beard, down upon the collar of…

    God Is with Us

“For God is with us [Immanuel]!” (Isaiah 8:10 – AMP)

‘God is with us’, Those four words strike terror in the heart of our enemies! How it must have disturbed hell the day the Lord gave the sign: ‘The virgin will be with child…

God Raised Us Up with Christ

“But because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions--it is by grace you have been saved. 6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus” (Ephesians 2:4-6 – NIV)

Looking beyond Christ’s identification with us, we find that, through Faith and repentance, we can be identified with Christ. Not only with His death, but also His subsequent exaltation. Firstly, Jesus identified Himself with…
