Faith Chronicles

A month of daily readings, written by Dr RJ Sing for his church every month from 2007 until his passing in 2024. Pastor Zubeda Sing wrote alongside him, and she continues them today. Each reading has its scripture, the teaching, a confession and the day's Bible reading plan.

In 2021 and 2022 he also wrote daily messages for believers in business and at work — the Marketplace, kept with the rest of his writing on his own site.

A Fruitful Tree

Pastor Zubeda Sing

“For he will be [nourished] like a tree planted by the waters, That spreads out its roots by the river; And will not fear the heat when it comes; But its leaves will be green and moist. And it will not be anxious and concerned in a year of drought Nor stop bearing fruit” Jeremiah 17v8

    The Word Prospers You

“So shall My word be that goes forth out of My mouth: it shall not return to Me void [without producing any effect, useless], but it shall accomplish that which I please and purpose, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.” Isaiah 55:11 - AMP

As rain and snow fall from Heaven to water the earth and make it bring forth seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so it is with God’s Word. He has sent…

You are blessed from morning till evening. You enjoy divine favor, happiness, prosperity and good things of every kind. You are the head and not the tail. You are to walk and function in…

Jesus Christ, Increases the Fruit of Your Righteousness

“For God, who gives seed to the farmer to plant, and later on good crops to harvest and eat, will give you more and more seed to plant and will make it grow so that you can give away more and more fruit from your harvest.” 2 Corinthians 9:10

Now I want you to zone in on the latter part of this verse. “And increase the fruits of your righteousness.” So what God is saying is that, for a new created Born Again…

    Abraham and the Tithe

“So God's blessings are given to us by faith, as a free gift; we are certain to get them whether or not we follow Jewish customs if we have faith like Abraham's, for Abraham is the father of us all when it comes to these matters of faith.” Romans 4:16

In order to be children of Abraham, we must walk in the steps of Abraham’s Faith. This includes handling our money the way Abraham handled his money. Paul stated in the Book of Romans…

God Views My Money as Holy

“And blessed, praised, and glorified be God Most High, Who has given your foes into your hand! And [Abram] gave him a tenth of all [he had taken].” Genesis 14:20 - AMP

Some Christians view money as something dirty or unworthy. However, money is a part of us. When we offer our money, we are offering a major part of ourselves to God. We need to…

God Has a Covenant of Prosperity with You

“I will make a peace pact with them and drive away the dangerous animals from the land, so that my people can safely camp in the wildest places and sleep safely in the woods. 26 I will make my people and their homes around my hill a blessing. And there shall be showers, showers of blessing, for I will not shut off the rains but send them in their seasons.” Ezekiel 34:25-26

Debt is a demonic spirit that keeps believers in bondage. The good news is that God has a covenant of prosperity with us which includes success, promotion, favor, wholeness, healing and debt freedom. God…

    Jesus Bore the Poverty Curse

“Abraham was now old and well advanced in years, and the LORD had blessed him in every way.” Genesis 24:1

Jesus bore the poverty curse, which is presented in its most absolute form in Deuteronomy 28:48. Some years ago, while I was preaching on the theme of God’s financial provision, I received a revelation…

    His Wealth Is Yours

“But remember the LORD your God, for it is He who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms His covenant, which He swore to your forefathers, as it is today” Deuteronomy 8:18

Many passages of scripture support the fact that Jesus bore the poverty curse. Let us look at two in particular, starting with 2 Corinthians 8:9. “For ye know the Grace of our Lord Jesus…

    You Have His Abundance

“The blessing of the LORD brings wealth, and He adds no trouble to it.” Proverbs 10:22

Having poverty means having “hunger…thirst…nakedness...& being in need of everything’ (Deuteronomy 28:48) When exactly did Jesus become poor? He began to become poor the moment He was identified with our sins. From that moment…

    Meeting God’s Conditions

“One man gives freely, yet gains even more; another withholds unduly, but comes to poverty.” Proverbs 11:24

We must make an important, logical distinction between earning God’s Grace, which is impossible, and meeting God’s conditions, which is obligatory. We cannot earn God’s abundance, which comes only through Grace; however, we are…

    You Are Rich

“For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich” 2 Corinthians 8:9

There are three basic principles that govern the operation of God’s Grace. First, Grace can never be earned; conversely, anything that can be earned is not Grace: (See Romans 11:6) This principle excludes most…
