Faith Chronicles

A month of daily readings, written by Dr RJ Sing for his church every month from 2007 until his passing in 2024. Pastor Zubeda Sing wrote alongside him, and she continues them today. Each reading has its scripture, the teaching, a confession and the day's Bible reading plan.

In 2021 and 2022 he also wrote daily messages for believers in business and at work — the Marketplace, kept with the rest of his writing on his own site.

The Fruit of Joy

Pastor Zubeda Sing

“Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling or falling into sin, and to present you unblemished [blameless and faultless] in the presence of His glory with triumphant joy and unspeakable delight, to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and power, before all time and now and forever. Amen.” Jude 1v24-25

    You Are to Honour God

“Honor the Lord with your capital and sufficiency [from righteous labors] and with the firstfruits of all your income; 10 So shall your storage places be filled with plenty, and your vats shall be overflowing with new wine.” (Proverbs 3:9-10 – AMP)

There is a wonderful secret or principle found in the above Proverb. This basic principle in Proverbs can mean success or failure in your life. Well, you may ask, what is this principle? The…

    Refuse to Fear the Recession

“For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control.” (2 Timothy 1:7 – AMP)

God will take care of us in the midst of what is going on in the world. As a believer, you do not participate in the recession. Therefore don’t go around and look for…

    No More Worry

“So do not worry or be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will have worries and anxieties of its own. Sufficient for each day is its own trouble.” (Matthew 6:34 – AMP)

You Are a Friend of Christ

“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” (Galatians 6:7 – NIV)

God Raised Us Up with Christ

“But because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions--it is by grace you have been saved. 6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus” (Ephesians 2:4-6 – NIV)

Looking beyond Christ’s identification with us, we find that, through Faith and repentance, we can be identified with Christ. Not only with His death, but also His subsequent exaltation. Firstly, Jesus identified Himself with…

    Resurrection Life

“Jesus told her, "I am the one who raises the dead and gives them life again. Anyone who believes in me, even though he dies like anyone else, shall live again.” (John 11:25)

Leviticus 17:11 says, “For the life of the flesh is in the blood.” When Jesus poured out His blood, He poured out His life. As I understand it, the life of God was released…

    Confessing Faith

“I can do all things through Christ Who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13 – NKJV)

The Lord has showed me that many Christians, if they looked back on their pasts, would admit to having made a series of negative confessions. You may have talked about what you couldn’t do…
