Faith Chronicles

A month of daily readings, written by Dr RJ Sing for his church every month from 2007 until his passing in 2024. Pastor Zubeda Sing wrote alongside him, and she continues them today. Each reading has its scripture, the teaching, a confession and the day's Bible reading plan.

In 2021 and 2022 he also wrote daily messages for believers in business and at work — the Marketplace, kept with the rest of his writing on his own site.

The Spirit’s Clear Mandate to Apostle Paul

Pastor Zubeda Sing

“But when God, who had chosen me and set me apart before I was born, and called me through His grace, was pleased to reveal His Son in me so that I might preach Him among the Gentiles [as the good news—the way of salvation], I did not immediately consult with anyone [for guidance regarding God’s call and His revelation to me]. Nor did I [even] go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me; but I went to Arabia and stayed awhile, and afterward returned once more to Damascus” Gal 1 v15-17

Stand Fast in One Spirit

This is how you stand before God, the World and the devil. You are to stand fast in one Spirit. Strife and discord opens the door to the devil. Let us look at what…

God’s Angels Minister to You
“Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?” Hebrews 1:14

You Are Strong and of Good Courage
“Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them. 7 Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it [to] the right hand or [to] the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest. 9Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee withersoever thou goest” Joshua 1:6-7, 9
Joshua had great challenges facing him. Most of the people he was leading were doubtful. However, Joshua had to encourage all of the Israelites. Joshua himself saw the huge task before him. Now God…

Do Not Be Intimidated by the Devil
“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.” 1 Peter 5:8-9
The devil attempts to intimidate you from day to day. The devil is like a guard dog that sits at the front gate and barks at everything that goes by. The only people who…

You Have Authority and Power

“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” James 4:7
This scripture tells us that we are to do the resisting. Therefore, as we submit to God and resist the wicked one, he must flee. That word “flee” actually means run in haste. I…
