Faith Chronicles

A month of daily readings, written by Dr RJ Sing for his church every month from 2007 until his passing in 2024. Pastor Zubeda Sing wrote alongside him, and she continues them today. Each reading has its scripture, the teaching, a confession and the day's Bible reading plan.

In 2021 and 2022 he also wrote daily messages for believers in business and at work — the Marketplace, kept with the rest of his writing on his own site.

The Spirit’s Clear Mandate to Apostle Paul

Pastor Zubeda Sing

“But when God, who had chosen me and set me apart before I was born, and called me through His grace, was pleased to reveal His Son in me so that I might preach Him among the Gentiles [as the good news—the way of salvation], I did not immediately consult with anyone [for guidance regarding God’s call and His revelation to me]. Nor did I [even] go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me; but I went to Arabia and stayed awhile, and afterward returned once more to Damascus” Gal 1 v15-17

You are made in God’s image. Through Christ Jesus you have the ability to favor others and receive favor from others. You are an heir through Jesus Christ. Further, you are a joint heir…

You Inherited Everything in Christ Jesus
“Don't let others spoil your faith and joy with their philosophies, their wrong and shallow answers built on men's thoughts and ideas, instead of on what Christ has said. 9 For in Christ there is all of God in a human body; 10 so you have everything when you have Christ, and you are filled with God through your union with Christ. He is the highest Ruler, with authority over every other power.” Colossians 2:8-10
I once preached about the legal aspects of your redemption and I told you that your walk with Christ is all based on legality. If a lawyer calls you and reads out a will…

Jesus Brought Us to God
“For Christ [the Messiah Himself] died for sins once for all, the Righteous for the unrighteous (the Just for the unjust, the Innocent for the guilty), that He might bring us to God. In His human body He was put to death, but He was made alive in the spirit.” 1 Peter 3:18 - Amplified
Because He was made alive unto God, you are also made alive unto God. That means when a Child of God or a Son of God speaks, God hears you. You don’t come as…

You No Longer Follow After Such Things
“Away then with sinful, earthly things; deaden the evil desires lurking within you; have nothing to do with sexual sin, impurity, lust, and shameful desires; don't worship the good things of life, for that is idolatry. 6 God's terrible anger is upon those who do such things. 7 You used to do them when your life was still part of this world.” Colossians 3:5-7
There was a time when you practiced sin. However, now that you have received Christ as your Saviour, you no longer follow after such things. You have replaced those selfish, sinful desires with the…
