You Inherited Everything in Christ Jesus

“Don't let others spoil your faith and joy with their philosophies, their wrong and shallow answers built on men's thoughts and ideas, instead of on what Christ has said. 9 For in Christ there is all of God in a human body; 10 so you have everything when you have Christ, and you are filled with God through your union with Christ. He is the highest Ruler, with authority over every other power.”
I once preached about the legal aspects of your redemption and I told you that your walk with Christ is all based on legality. If a lawyer calls you and reads out a will to you and says you’ve inherited an estate. That everything the deceased had, he’s now left it to you, what will you do? Are you going to ask him, is that 50% or is that 20%?
When, he has already said to you everything. So if he would give you 20%, what would you say? You would probably say, “Sir, I beg to differ in your apportioning of the estate. You said everything was mine and now you’re giving me 20% of the estate. That is not right I want more.
However, when it comes to the things of God, you are so humble; you are so pious, if you are dished out with 20% you say, “Well that’s all I’ll take.” No, you inherited everything in Christ Jesus. God has given you everything. I mean be voracious with God. Say, “Lord I am whatever your Word says about me. I don’t settle for second best. If the Word says that I am Born Again. Then I am Born Again. If the Word says that I’m rich, then I’m rich.” You have everything in Christ.
