Faith Chronicles

A month of daily readings, written by Dr RJ Sing for his church every month from 2007 until his passing in 2024. Pastor Zubeda Sing wrote alongside him, and she continues them today. Each reading has its scripture, the teaching, a confession and the day's Bible reading plan.

In 2021 and 2022 he also wrote daily messages for believers in business and at work — the Marketplace, kept with the rest of his writing on his own site.

The Spirit’s Clear Mandate to Apostle Paul

Pastor Zubeda Sing

“But when God, who had chosen me and set me apart before I was born, and called me through His grace, was pleased to reveal His Son in me so that I might preach Him among the Gentiles [as the good news—the way of salvation], I did not immediately consult with anyone [for guidance regarding God’s call and His revelation to me]. Nor did I [even] go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me; but I went to Arabia and stayed awhile, and afterward returned once more to Damascus” Gal 1 v15-17

March Towards Your Destiny – Part 2

“I'm not saying that I have this all together, that I have it made. But I am well on my way, reaching out for Christ, who has so wondrously reached out for me. 13 Friends, don't get me wrong: By no means do I count myself an expert in all of this, but I've got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward—to Jesus. 14 I'm off and running, and I'm not turning back.” (Philippians 3:12-14 – MSG)

What walls do we face today? We face personal finances, personality conflicts, problems at work, health issues, family problems, anger, resentment, fear etc. The mistake we make is that we take things into our…

Your Assignment and Anointing Will Attract Attack – Part 5

“Where there is no vision [no redemptive revelation of God], the people perish; but he who keeps the law [of God, which includes that of man]—Blessed (happy, fortunate, and enviable) is he.” (Proverbs 29:18 – AMP)

The Word of God is the best defense you possess as angels are continually ready to minister to you during a crisis. Continuous praise and worship leaving your lips, demoralizes satan and attracts the…

Understanding Your Purpose – Part 10

“Don’t copy the behaviour and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will know what God wants you to do and you will know how good and pleasing and perfect his will really is.” Romans 12:2 – NLT

When anything in creation fulfills its purpose, it brings Glory to God. God made ants to be ants and you to be you. St. Irenaeus said: “The Glory of God is a human being…

    Build Yourself Up

“20 But you, dear friends, must build up your lives ever more strongly upon the foundation of our holy faith, learning to pray in the power and strength of the Holy Spirit.” Jude 1:20

Public prayer is a vital part of public worship. This is where the Holy Spirit takes hold of yielded vessels and prays through them. As we yield our thoughts and ways, we begin to…

God Views My Money as Holy

“And blessed, praised, and glorified be God Most High, Who has given your foes into your hand! And [Abram] gave him a tenth of all [he had taken].” Genesis 14:20 - AMP

Some Christians view money as something dirty or unworthy. However, money is a part of us. When we offer our money, we are offering a major part of ourselves to God. We need to…

We continue with our account of the anointing at Bethany. We stated that this woman gave what was most valuable to her as an act of worship. She did not give for selfish reasons.…

    Principles for Giving No.13

“A woman came to him with an alabaster jar of very expensive perfume, which she poured on his head as he was reclining at the table” Matthew 26:7

This is most beautiful example in the entire Bible of how God expects us to give. Jesus was in the house of Simon the leper. A woman came to Him there with an alabaster…

    Principles for Giving No.10 (Part2)

“But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you” Matthew 6:3-4

Jesus teaches us not to give like the hypocrites who give to be seen and to receive praise and honor of men. Instead, our motive must be to glorify God. He tells us to…
