Faith Chronicles

A month of daily readings, written by Dr RJ Sing for his church every month from 2007 until his passing in 2024. Pastor Zubeda Sing wrote alongside him, and she continues them today. Each reading has its scripture, the teaching, a confession and the day's Bible reading plan.

In 2021 and 2022 he also wrote daily messages for believers in business and at work — the Marketplace, kept with the rest of his writing on his own site.

The Spirit’s Clear Mandate to Apostle Paul

Pastor Zubeda Sing

“But when God, who had chosen me and set me apart before I was born, and called me through His grace, was pleased to reveal His Son in me so that I might preach Him among the Gentiles [as the good news—the way of salvation], I did not immediately consult with anyone [for guidance regarding God’s call and His revelation to me]. Nor did I [even] go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me; but I went to Arabia and stayed awhile, and afterward returned once more to Damascus” Gal 1 v15-17

The Power of Confession
“That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans 10:9-10 – NKJV)
The moment we believe, we are to speak and confess what has been revealed to us. 2 Corinthians 4:13 NKJV “And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written,…

Only Believe
“Then they said to Him, “What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?” 29 Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.” (John 6:28–29 – NKJV)
In the Gospel of John, we find Jesus being asked a question by the multitude who had been awed by His miracles — “What shall we do, that we may work the works of…

My Giving Must Be by Faith
“For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love.” (Galatians 5:6 – NKJV)
The Scriptural blessing governing finance can only be apprehended by faith. You must respond to this message with faith. Further, faith means we act! Faith without action is dead. What do we do when…

God Is Waiting on You to Command Him
“Thus says the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, and its Maker: Would you question Me about things to come concerning My children, and concerning the work of My hands [would you] command Me?” (Isaiah 45:11 AMP)
God is waiting on you to command Him according to His Word just as Moses did when He was about to destroy the children of Israel. Plead your case before Him so that He…

The Truth About Strength
“Melt your plowshares into swords, and beat your pruning hooks into spears. Let the weak be strong.” (Joel 3:10)
If you desire to be strong, the Word of God shows us how. The Bible says that the weak should declare that they are strong. Don’t wait to feel strong before you declare His…

Faith Equals the Word of God – Part 2

Faith Equals the Word of God – Part 1
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” (Hebrews 11:1 – NKJV)
Therefore, all things were made by faith. In other words, everything you see around you was made by faith. The Word is the substance or essential ingredient needed to bring the things we desire…

The Power of God’s Word – Part 3
“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. 3 Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light.” (Genesis 1:1-3 – NKJV)
You must launch out into the deep. Luke 5:4-11 – Peter did not argue with Jesus. He did not explain his situation in detail, therefore learn a secret from Peter. Obedience will bring you…

Be Strong in the Lord
“Every place upon which the sole of your foot shall tread, that have I given to you, as I promised Moses.” (Joshua 1:3 – AMP)
Fear and timidity cripple and paralyze. Three times the Lord told Joshua, “Be strong and courageous.” (Joshua 1:6, 7, 9). Even Joshua’s own people exhorted him to “be strong and courageous” (v 18). God…

You Shall Not Fear – Part 18
“But instantly He spoke to them, saying, Take courage! I AM! Stop being afraid!” (Matthew 14:27)
Jesus’ ability to walk on the sea demonstrated the Power of Faith over fear. (Matthew 14:22-31). Jesus dominated the Natural law of gravity when He walked on water. Peter’s Faith enabled Him to walk…

You Shall Not Fear – Part 17
“And He arose and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, Hush now! Be still (muzzled)! And the wind ceased (sank to rest as if exhausted by its beating) and there was [immediately] a great calm (a perfect peacefulness).” (Mark 4:39 – AMP)
Make a decision to operate in Faith. Isaiah 41:10 (AMP) Fear not [there is nothing to fear], for I am with you; do not look around you in terror and be dismayed, for I…
