Faith Chronicles

A month of daily readings, written by Dr RJ Sing for his church every month from 2007 until his passing in 2024. Pastor Zubeda Sing wrote alongside him, and she continues them today. Each reading has its scripture, the teaching, a confession and the day's Bible reading plan.

In 2021 and 2022 he also wrote daily messages for believers in business and at work — the Marketplace, kept with the rest of his writing on his own site.

The Spirit’s Clear Mandate to Apostle Paul

Pastor Zubeda Sing

“But when God, who had chosen me and set me apart before I was born, and called me through His grace, was pleased to reveal His Son in me so that I might preach Him among the Gentiles [as the good news—the way of salvation], I did not immediately consult with anyone [for guidance regarding God’s call and His revelation to me]. Nor did I [even] go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me; but I went to Arabia and stayed awhile, and afterward returned once more to Damascus” Gal 1 v15-17

“For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation” 2 Corinthians 6:2

When Faith contacts God, it is always in the Present. God lives in the Eternal Now. To Faith, He never reveals Himself as “I was” but always as “I am”. When Faith contacts God,…

    Faith Versus Hope (Part 3)

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose”.” Romans 8:28

If we lay aside the helmet and begin to dwell on negative thoughts and gloomy imaginations, our minds are vulnerable to satans attacks. True Christian optimism is not fanciful or unrealistic. Optimism must be…

Truth received intellectually by the mind may be sterile and ineffective, but truth received by Faith into the heart is always dynamic and life changing. A person who truly believes will be changed by…

    Protect Your Heart

“Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” Proverbs 4:23

Everything that finally decides the course of our lives proceeds from our hearts. True Biblical Faith proceeds from the heart and determines the way we live. It is not a mere intellectual concept, entertained…

    Faith Is in the Heart

“For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” Romans 10:10

There is a difference between Faith and Hope. The first essential difference is that Faith is in the heart, while hope is in the mind. In Romans 10:10 (the above verse) Paul said, “For…

You Will See the Glory of God

“Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days. Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?” John 11:39-40

Now let us examine the record of Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead in the Eleventh Chapter of John. What Jesus asked here of Martha, He asks of all who desire to see the…

First Believe; Then You Will See

“…While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen...” 2 Corinthians 4:18

There is a great significance in the Word “while”, “While we look not at the things which are seen”. It stresses the same lesson that Moses learned in his Test of Endurance. He learned…

God Is Not a Man That He Should Lie

“God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?” Numbers 23:19

When the enemy comes to put pressure on you, you can easily become unsure of what you believe. But you should nail this in your belief system that God cannot lie. It does not…

Nothing Is Too Hard for Him

“Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee; 27: Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for me?” Jeremiah 32:17, 27

God commanded Jeremiah to buy a piece of land. Through this, God wanted to let him know that He would show His people compassion again: houses, field and vineyards would again be bought in…
