Faith Chronicles

A month of daily readings, written by Dr RJ Sing for his church every month from 2007 until his passing in 2024. Pastor Zubeda Sing wrote alongside him, and she continues them today. Each reading has its scripture, the teaching, a confession and the day's Bible reading plan.

In 2021 and 2022 he also wrote daily messages for believers in business and at work — the Marketplace, kept with the rest of his writing on his own site.

The Spirit’s Clear Mandate to Apostle Paul

Pastor Zubeda Sing

“But when God, who had chosen me and set me apart before I was born, and called me through His grace, was pleased to reveal His Son in me so that I might preach Him among the Gentiles [as the good news—the way of salvation], I did not immediately consult with anyone [for guidance regarding God’s call and His revelation to me]. Nor did I [even] go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me; but I went to Arabia and stayed awhile, and afterward returned once more to Damascus” Gal 1 v15-17

    Don’t Fear Death!

“But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.” Hebrews 2:9

Death is not a very popular topic, even amongst Christians. Many are fearful of death. Christians talk about heaven, about Jesus, etc but their spirits have not really received this wonderful revelation. When I…

You Have the Peace of God!

“Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you” John 20:21

When Jesus came to earth, He gave up His Divine Power. He came as a man and took upon Himself the body of a man. He was deity here, but he did not operate…

    Resurrection Life!

“Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live” John 11:25

Leviticus 17:11 says, “The life of the flesh is in the blood” When Jesus poured out His blood, He poured out His life. As I understand it, the life of God was released into…

    Merry Christmas!

“And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. 11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord” Luke 2:10-11

This is a wonderful day and I trust that you will both celebrate this day as well as enjoy it. The Greatest Gift of all is the Gift of Jesus Christ to us from…

    The Importance of Communion!

“After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.” 1 Corinthians 11:25

We have noted that the life is in the blood. (See Leviticus 17:11) If we want the life, we must appropriate the blood. We do that by taking Communion, as well as by the…

    His Wealth Is Yours!

“But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your forefathers, as it is today” Deuteronomy 8:18

Many passages of scripture support the fact that Jesus bore the poverty curse. Let us look at two in particular, starting with 2 Corinthians 8:9. “For ye know the Grace of our Lord Jesus…

    You Have His Abundance!

“The blessing of the LORD brings wealth, and he adds no trouble to it.” Proverbs 10:22

Having poverty means having “hunger…thirst…nakedness..& being in need of everything’(Deut 28:48) When exactly did Jesus become poor? He began to become poor the moment He was identified with our sins. From that moment onward,…

    Freed from Shame!

“The Lord GOD hath opened mine ear, and I was not rebellious, neither turned away back. Isa 50:6 I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting” Isaiah 50:5-6

Shame is a cruel and ugly emotion, and it is found even among Christians. It is often the result of sexual abuse or emotional abuse, such as being ridiculed at school. I once read…

    Jesus Endured Your Rejection!

“We love Him, (God) because he first loved us” 1 John 4:19

I believe the primary result of rejection is the inability to receive or communicate love. This point was made by John in the New Testament, when he wrote, “We love Him (God) because He…

Acceptance & Justification with the Father!

“Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus” Romans 3:24

To receive God’s provision for rejection, you must grasp two basic facts. First, God did not make a lot of different provisions for each of the various needs of humanity. Instead, He made just…

    God Who Forgives All Sins

God Reveals Himself Through His Son

“If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. 8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. 9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?” John 14:7-9

No one has ever seen God. He is too great and too holy for man to lay eyes on “…you cannot see my face, for no one may see me and live,” God explained…
