Faith Chronicles

A month of daily readings, written by Dr RJ Sing for his church every month from 2007 until his passing in 2024. Pastor Zubeda Sing wrote alongside him, and she continues them today. Each reading has its scripture, the teaching, a confession and the day's Bible reading plan.

In 2021 and 2022 he also wrote daily messages for believers in business and at work — the Marketplace, kept with the rest of his writing on his own site.

The Spirit’s Clear Mandate to Apostle Paul

Pastor Zubeda Sing

“But when God, who had chosen me and set me apart before I was born, and called me through His grace, was pleased to reveal His Son in me so that I might preach Him among the Gentiles [as the good news—the way of salvation], I did not immediately consult with anyone [for guidance regarding God’s call and His revelation to me]. Nor did I [even] go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me; but I went to Arabia and stayed awhile, and afterward returned once more to Damascus” Gal 1 v15-17

The Wisdom of God Is in You!
“But it is from Him that you have your life in Christ Jesus, Whom God made our Wisdom from God, [revealed to us a knowledge of the divine plan of salvation previously hidden, manifesting itself as] our Righteousness [thus making us upright and putting us in right standing with God], and our Consecration [making us pure and holy], and our Redemption [providing our ransom from eternal penalty for sin].” 1 Corinthians 1:30 AMP
The spirit of wisdom is in you now and teaches you all things. The spirit of God guides you into all truth. Therefore, confess that you have perfect knowledge and wisdom to deal with…

You Are God’s Miracle to the World!
“Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.” Zechariah 4:6
When you begin to look at the vast needs around you, this can be a little intimidating. Why? Because you begin to realize that you cannot meet the needs that are all around you.…

Tough Times Will Not Last!
“Then had the churches rest throughout all Judaea and Galilee and Samaria, and were edified; and walking in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Ghost, were multiplied.” Acts 9:31

You Are Anointed for Success!
“The Spirit of the Lord [is] upon Me, because He has anointed Me [the Anointed One, the Messiah] to preach the good news (the Gospel) to the poor; He has sent Me to announce release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to send forth as delivered those who are oppressed [who are downtrodden, bruised, crushed, and broken down by calamity]. To proclaim the accepted and acceptable year of the Lord [the day when salvation and the free favors of God profusely abound.” Luke 4:18-19
This is a beautiful portion of scripture. When Jesus came to Nazareth, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day and stood up to read. He then read quoting the prophet Isaiah in…

You Are to Cultivate a Relationship with the Holy Spirit!

Facing Opposition
“Then there arose certain of the synagogue, which is called [the synagogue] of the Libertines, and Cyrenians, and Alexandrians, and of them of Cilicia and of Asia, disputing with Stephen. And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the spirit by which he spake.” Acts 6:9-10
As you progress in this life of the Spirit, you will find that the devil will begin to get restless and will cause a dispute in the Church. This was so, with Stephen as…

Anointed Preaching!
“For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake.” 1 Thessalonians 1:5
This is where the preacher does not depend on the wisdom of man. No, the Gospel is preached with power at the leading of the Holy Spirit. 1 Thessalonians 1:6, “And ye became followers…
