Faith Chronicles

A month of daily readings, written by Dr RJ Sing for his church every month from 2007 until his passing in 2024. Pastor Zubeda Sing wrote alongside him, and she continues them today. Each reading has its scripture, the teaching, a confession and the day's Bible reading plan.

In 2021 and 2022 he also wrote daily messages for believers in business and at work — the Marketplace, kept with the rest of his writing on his own site.

A Fruitful Tree

Pastor Zubeda Sing

I Have the Power of God Behind Me

“Who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.” (Philippians 3:21 – NKJV)

You have authority and power over any adverse circumstance. However, you must first understand and then walk in that authority. Satan will do everything in his power to get you to relinquish that authority.…

    Church Commitment – Part 3

“Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.” (Hebrews 10:25 – NKJV)

In what ways do we demonstrate Commitment to one another: The Bible lists many responsibilities that Christians have one to another. Every believer must measure their body relationships according to these guidelines. There are…

    Church Commitment – Part 2

“Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.” (Hebrews 10:25 – NKJV)

God uses many means to teach us commitment. There are three main concepts God links with the church to help us understand how we fit in with one another. The Church is a Temple…

    Church Commitment – Part 1

“Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God.” (Ephesians 2:19 – NKJV)

The word ‘commitment’ itself does not occur in the King James version of the Bible, but when we understand the meaning of this word, we find that it is a concept that occurs throughout…

You Are Washed by the Blood

“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.” (Revelation 12:11 – NKJV)

Leviticus 17:11 says, ‘The Life of the Flesh is in the Blood’. When Jesus poured out His Blood, He poured out His Life. As I understand it, the life of God was released into…

    Only Believe

“Then they said to Him, “What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?” 29 Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.” (John 6:28–29 – NKJV)

In the Gospel of John, we find Jesus being asked a question by the multitude who had been awed by His miracles — “What shall we do, that we may work the works of…

The Blessing of the Lord – Part 2

“The blessing of the Lord it makes [truly] rich, and He adds no sorrow with it [neither does toiling increase it].” (Proverbs 10:22 – AMP)

We all have a right to be blessed as long as we stay connected to Jesus. We are blessed through Divine connections. Therefore, we should never take lightly those with whom we have covenant…

The blessing of the Lord makes us truly rich-not just in finances, but in every way. However, in order to abide in the blessing, we must obey God. We prove our faithfulness to Him…

    The Ability to Change Things

“He who believes in Me [who cleaves to and trusts in and relies on Me] as the Scripture has said, from his innermost being shall flow [continuously] springs and rivers of living water.” (John 7:38 – AMP)

As the New Creation man deals with different situations in life, he can release the Power of the Holy Spirit from within him. This ability changes things. The sick are healed. Demons are cast…

    Choosing God’s Grace

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.” (Romans 12:1 – NKJV)

It is a question of setting our wills, then yielding-in that order. If we don’t will, then by habit, we will yield to the wrong thing. We must stop presenting our bodies or our…

    Treating One Another Right

“Let brotherly love continue. 2 Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels.” (Hebrews 13:1-2 – NKJV)

The World is full of all kinds of people. Just looking at someone’s exterior, you might say, “I don’t see much to get excited about” You could look back in the mirror and perhaps…

I Will Not Allow the Devil to Separate Me

“BEHOLD, HOW good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!” (Psalm 133:1 – AMP)

This Scripture carries such wisdom. A united front is always harder to defeat than a divided one. Don’t allow the devil to separate you from other believers through offence. Stay in the Word and…
