Faith Chronicles

A month of daily readings, written by Dr RJ Sing for his church every month from 2007 until his passing in 2024. Pastor Zubeda Sing wrote alongside him, and she continues them today. Each reading has its scripture, the teaching, a confession and the day's Bible reading plan.

In 2021 and 2022 he also wrote daily messages for believers in business and at work — the Marketplace, kept with the rest of his writing on his own site.

The Spirit’s Clear Mandate to Apostle Paul

Pastor Zubeda Sing

“But when God, who had chosen me and set me apart before I was born, and called me through His grace, was pleased to reveal His Son in me so that I might preach Him among the Gentiles [as the good news—the way of salvation], I did not immediately consult with anyone [for guidance regarding God’s call and His revelation to me]. Nor did I [even] go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me; but I went to Arabia and stayed awhile, and afterward returned once more to Damascus” Gal 1 v15-17

Learn to practice to laugh at the devil. He has made us miserable for too long and we tend to play into his hands by getting depressed and discouraged. It’s about time we learn…

I Set My Heart on Things Above

    Confidence in Him!

“Wherefore the LORD God of Israel saith, I said indeed [that] thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now the LORD saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed.” 1 Samuel 2:30

Eli had a hard time disciplining his sons because he was more concerned about their opinion of him than God’s opinion of him. God said to him, ‘Those who honor me I will honor’…

    You Are a Wonder!

“And all bare him witness, and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth. And they said, Is not this Joseph's son?” Luke 4:22

Envy blinds us to the truth. Jonathan pleaded with his father to spare David’s life, reminding him that David had done him nothing but good (1 Samuel 20:32). Totally persuaded that David stood in…

    Overcome Rejection!

“He came unto his own, and his own received him not.” John 1:11

Rejection cuts deep. To be rejected by one’s own family, relatives or people can cut a person to the foundation. Jephthah, son of a prostitute, knew what it felt like to be rejected (Judges…
