A Wholesome Tongue
Pastor Zubeda Sing · 1 min read

“Do not let unwholesome [foul, profane, worthless, vulgar] words ever come out of your mouth, but only such speech as is good for building up others, according to the need and the occasion, so that it will be a blessing to those who hear [you speak].”
Once we are born again and blood washed, we need to allow the holy spirit to introduce us to the language of the new man. The language that is wholesome. No foul, profane, worthless and vulgar communication should ever proceed from my mouth. We choose our words carefully. Perhaps in the past we were given to speak profane language but as we are developed and grown in the Holy Spirit, we lay aside all unholy and godless talk.
In every situation we make sure that what comes out of our mouth is wholesome, and builds others. Jesus went about healing all those who were sick and diseased and we too go about speaking life in men and women who are broken and in need of healing. The spirit of God working in us makes us effective and our tongues dispense of the goodness of God as we go about this world healing all.
The thriver has a wholesome tongue that has been developed over time.
