A Higher Language

“The lips of the godly speak helpful words, but the mouth of the wicked speaks perverse words”
Prov 10v32

We are new creation beings. We speak the language of the Kingdom of God, the words of our mouth reflect the words of our Father. We speak words of healing. Our words bring healing to the broken hearted. We speak a word in season to the weary and our words are timely. Our words are like pictures of gold in settings of silver. Our words shape our lives so we select our words carefully, like an artist we draw the lines on the canvass of our lives, skillfully and carefully, bringing about a picture of victory and success. We choose our words like a builder chooses the materials to build a solid beautiful house, each word becomes a building block that shapes our world into something wonderful, a light to our world. When the unbeliever looks into the windows of our lives, they see the grace and mercy of God by the words we speak. Our words are the hope this world needs. This is the language of the new man. It is a language that the Holy Spirit cultivates in our hearts so when we speak, we speak from the abundance of the heart. Our words come from the good treasure of our hearts and become the fruit people wish to partake of from our lives.

Our words are filled with wisdom and bring life to the hearers of our conversations. Our words are laced with love and kindness and are pleasant to the ear. Long after we have left, the words echo in the hearts of those who have heard us. God is with us strong and every word we speak, the Holy Spirit empowers and it brings forth that which God has planned from the beginning. We are not of those who have much to say, for in the multitude of words, sin is not lacking. We are of the tribe of people who speak softly, for a soft answer turns away wrath. Our words resound with peace and still the chaos around us. We speak the language of the word of God.

The book of Acts and Paul’s epistles reveal that he lived a real life in real circumstances with real options to choose from. He, like everyone else, had to decide what to do and what not to do. He obviously made wise choices. He chose his words wisely and got great results.
