A Witnessing Tongue

Pastor Zubeda Sing · 2 min read

“Even if you suffer for it, you’re still better off. Don’t give the opposition a second thought. Through thick and thin, keep your hearts at attention, in adoration before Christ, your Master. Be ready to speak up and tell anyone who asks why you’re living the way you are, and always with the utmost courtesy.”
1Peter 3v14

Peter wanted us to be able to share our faith boldly and fearlessly. Be intentional about why you live the way you do and speak with courtesy. We are called to witness to the unsaved, the lost and those in need of salvation. Each and every day we witness the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. God is good to us and we do not always step back to say thank you.

In this lost and dying world, our witness of the gospel will save a dying soul. A word from our mouths will heal and restore a broken heart. When our love for Jesus is so strong that we cannot help but speak about this wonderful God and saviour. When we meditate on the goodness of God, we will not be able to help ourselves but to witness. To the sick, we can declare him as healer, to the broken hearted, we can share him as restorer of the broken hearts. To those in bondage, we can share hm as deliverer. To those in financial lack, we can proclaim him as provider and the source of life. There is just so much to say but to each of us we have to find our language to witness to this dying world.

The thriver is on top of his game, there is no person that can get past them without hearing, that Jesus is Lord.
