The Higher Life

Jesus came to give us a chance at life. He came to give us the God kind of life. He came to give us a higher life. A whole new way of living. We still live in the world but we do not belong to the world. This higher life is a life of holiness and separation from the world. We are already Holy as Jesus made us holy. In Jesus we have a higher life. We are not affected by the things of this world. This higher life creates a desire and a passion for more of God.

The temptations of the world do not go away, however, the Holy Spirit daily changes us from the inside out. Our desires and wants change daily, as we are changed and transformed into the image and likeness of God. As we grow and fellowship with God on a daily basis, the love of God consumes our heart and it gets more difficult to live a sinful life and give in to temptation.

As you look back on your life, it seems you are living life on a higher plane. The life you used to lives seems far away from where you are now. Why? You are now living the God kind of life. This life is to the full, full of power and the anointing, full of joy and favour, the grace of God shows you how to live richly in Christ. Temptations come, but it is now easier to overcome the need to give in to temptation. Praise God we have the comfort of the Holy Spirit who teaches us daily how to live this higher life.
