The Blessing of Being a Peacemaker

God is the God of peace. The peace of God reigns in us. It is resident in us, however it’s a choice. We have to choose to be peaceful. When we practice peace, we find we never want to be in a place that is not peaceful. We become instruments of God’s peace so wherever we go we bring peace and joy. Our presence in a place, drives out the spirit of divisiveness and chaos. We become the tool in God’s hand and we speak to the storms of life and command them to be still in Jesus name.

We are the ambassadors of God’s peace. The peace we carry is Jesus’s peace. We leave peace wherever we go. When we allow the Holy Spirit to cultivate this God kind of peace in us, we refuse the chaos of life. We can instantly sense that the atmosphere is not right or the person we are facing is not a peaceful person. We recognize the traces of strife and division and instantly address it. We have the wisdom of God that flows out of us so that we release the peace of God in every situation.

Allow the Holy Spirit to bring this blessing of peacemaker in your life. This world of ours is in desperate need of peacemakers. People who are bold enough to take their place to make our world a better place. Choose today to be a peacemaker.
