A Hard Heart
Pastor Zubeda Sing · 2 min read

“But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; Who will render to every man according to his deeds:”
A hard heart reflects a person who has lots of unforgiveness and envy in their hearts. The heart has become so hard that it is unable to hear which affects the mind and results in mean or bad actions. The Holy Spirit is unable to work through the person, nor can the person hear the voice of the spirit of God. Pride is a defence the person uses to keep people away and even when they come to church, they hear the word of God but are critical and unable to receive the word being preached. They find fault with “everything”. Nothing is ever good enough or no person can meet their standard. A person with a calloused heart is like a barbed wire fence around a house that keeps thieves out. Only in a callous heart, even what is necessary and beneficial, is kept out. Some of the people in this state are blood washed and also speak in tongues. When the Holy Spirit wants to speak or correct them, they are unable to listen or take action. Life becomes a struggle, constantly feeling as if you are travelling uphill with blistered feet. This is not our portion in life.
We need to allow the Holy Spirit to work on our mind and our hearts. We need to let him in so that he can work out all the stuff that has been hindering our purpose. The Holy Spirit will first start with the heart, because out of the heart are the issues of life. once the heart is settled, we will hear more clearly and our heart becomes softer towards others.
Thriver let go of the calloused heart and you will grow at such a rapid pace that it will surprise you at how quickly things start to happen. God has you in the palm of his hand.
