A Renewed Mind

“For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: All these evil things come from within, and defile the man”
No evil can control you. You have the right to cast down every imagination and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. the above scripture is from the book of Mark and shared by Jesus before his death. That means prior to the death of Jesus on the cross, this report was accurate for the man and woman who lived at that time. We are not of this class. We are recipients of all that Jesus has done for us. We are blood washed and sanctified. The thoughts and ideas mentioned in this scripture has the potential to manifest in our lives but we will not allow this kind of thinking which is detrimental, in to our lives.
The urgency for winning the lost is important right now, after reading the above scripture. We have to let the world and those around us know, there is a way out. They do not have to remain in a state as mentioned in the above scripture. Christ has come to set us free so shout out this message with confidence to the people you meet. The Holy Spirit will give you the words to speak when you meet people. He has shed his love abroad your heart to share this gospel message and make disciples of all men.
We can only have a heart for people when we have a change of mind. When our mind moves away from me, mine and what is important to me, then we realise we have a whole world to win for Christ.
The mind of a Thriver is set on things above and shares the gospel to release people from the bondage of sin.
