My Mind is Stayed on God

The is power in your thought life. What a man or woman thinks, is who they are. Your thoughts will drive you in a direction, that you may not like and it may be contrary to the will of God. When your mind strays, it gives the enemy entry into your life. You become anxious and fearful, all because your mind has strayed.

I love the above scripture, it clearly tells us to keep our mind fixed and focused on God and we will live in perfect and constant peace. Jesus said, I came to give you peace, not as the world gives it, but my peace. The peace of God is a benefit we enjoy because of salvation. This peace keeps our mind fixed on our heavenly Father and we are convinced and persuaded that He is well able to do what he has promised. In this peace we come to know our Father as a promise keeper. We come to know our Father as a healer, as a provider, as well as a comforter.

The enemy desires to keep our mind busy and not stayed on God so that he can play havoc with our lives. He can keep us in a chaotic place where do not realise the greatness of our God. Please family of God, keep your mind stayed on God so you live in peace and you can trust and rely solely on God. He will never let you down. Recognize the enemy, we do not wrestle with flesh and blood, but with principalities and powers and rulers of darkness in high places. Remember you are seated with Christ in heavenly place. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
