The Culture of the Kingdom

We are a people of the kingdom of God. The kingdom of God is a kingdom of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Healing is normal in the kingdom of God, prosperity is normal in the kingdom of God. In this kingdom we live fear free and our faith is made strong because we speak forth things we want to see. We are a people who are atmosphere changers. We believe, therefore we speak and when we speak, things begin to happen. We do not wait for things to happen, we make things happen. We do not avoid trouble, we trouble our trouble, so it has to leave. We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. We are the righteousness of God, that is who we are!

I said all of that to say to you, family of God, you have the right, the power and the authority to set the tone in your home. You develop the culture in your home. How? By declaring this.

Start out by talking to your family and say, in this house we do not shout or scream at each other. If you have something to say, you say it properly and in the right tone and attitude.

In this house we do not tolerate sickness or disease, we command sickness and disease to flee in Jesus name. The money we have will be spent on good things and things that are of benefit to us as a family. The devourer will not steal our money by allowing us to spend it on sickness and healing treatments. By the stripes of Jesus we are healed.

In this house we will not be negative and complain, we will sing praises to the Lord and find words of life to speak to each other so we always have joy and peace in this home.

These are just a few things you can decide on. You get together with your family and decide what is the culture of your home. I can tell you pages by pages of what Pastor and I told the boys even though we were not the greatest parents. This one thing I know the word and prayer was first place in our life. I give glory to God for using my stubbornness in a good way for this. God is well able, trust him and let him teach you how to live this kingdom life in kingdom culture. You are in this world but not of this world, so live like a kingdom citizen. Share your testimonies with others and rejoice in Jesus.

Father, I am who you say I am. I am the righteousness of God. I live fear free and sickness free. That is only some of the benefits you have given me. Each day I set my tongue in motion to speak the things you want for my life. The culture in my home is the culture of heaven. Hallelujah.
