We are not wise in our wisdom and cleverness

Pastor Zubeda Sing · 2 min read

“And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain”
1 Cor 3v20

We are not wise in our wisdom and cleverness. Jesus is our wisdom, our righteousness and our redemption as well as our sanctification. We need Jesus’s wisdom to operate in prosperity in this life.

God knows our thoughts, they may be quiet in our hearts and minds, but they echo loud before the father. He knows everything about you. Even your thoughts are naked before him. He busies himself with every footsteps of yours. He is concerned about you and wants you to stay on course according to the plan he has set out for you. He likes when you are thankful and grateful and your thoughts align with his will. However, even if your heart and your thoughts do not align with his will and plan, he will send the angels to guard over you and the Holy Spirit will convict you gently so you return to the path you have been called to.

Prideful thoughts really disrupts your connection to him. Fear prevents you from reaching out to him and doubt lets him know that you do not trust him. Let love in, even in your thoughts. Let his love, wisdom and understanding illuminate your mind so he can give you insight into your life and the way to do things. Keep your thoughts on Jesus, he will never let you down.

The thoughts of a thriver are on things above and not things that are harmful to them.
