Understanding the Timing of God

There is indeed a perfect season and a perfect timing in God. We have a mandate and we have a mission that we are called to. However, we will fulfill each request in its time. The giftings and calling of God on our life will not operate all together at the same time. When we face each situation in our life, the gifting necessary for that particular time will come forth. An example of this is, you are in a meeting where there is a problem, suddenly God will give you the wisdom to answer aptly and bring a solution to the problem they are facing. Another time you come across a person who is in need of healing, you will know to lay hands on them and pray for them for healing. These are just examples of knowing and understanding the timing of God.

There will be times you are praying and confessing for something from the Lord and it does not come in the time that you expect. You may need to pay a bill but you do not have the finances to pay the bill. You call on the Lord and trust and wait. Somehow it seems the money is not coming but during this time, you getting to understand patience and the need to exercise wisdom in your spending so you never get into this situation again. The bill is eventually paid in the right time but through it all you learn some things you would never have experienced had you not gone through that period of time. The timing of God also teach you how to prioritize the things in your life. People will come into your life and when they have to leave, you feel very disappointed, however the friendship was not permanent, it was seasonal. We have to learn when to let go.
