A Persuaded Mind

Paul was a man who was fully persuaded in his calling. He was full of the presence of God and knew that he knew he was called to preach the gospel to the Gentiles. In everything that he did, he was convinced that God loved us. He was convinced that Jesus had died and washed us from every sin, past, present and future. There was nothing that convince him otherwise. The word used here is convinced, it has the same meaning as persuaded. Once you are persuaded about the truth, nothing and no one can change your mind. This feeling of being persuaded is not an emotional feeling that you have one day and the next day you feel another way. It is a determination within your spirit man, revealed by the spirit of God that causes you to stand strong in your faith.

In the above scripture, Paul was saying to us, nothing on this earth or even under the earth or wherever, could separate us from the love of God. Not even death or life. Not even angels or principalities. He knew that he knew and had experienced the love of Christ even when he was in sin, the love of God reached out to him and he was given the opportunity to be saved.

Family of God, the enemy will attack your mind and try and get you to think thoughts that are outside of the will of God for your life. Do not allow the enemy entry into your mind by allow the thoughts he sends into your mind. You have to be determined, you have to be convinced that God loves you and that you are what the word says you are. Do not allow your feelings to control you, be fully persuaded in your mind and allow the Holy Spirit to reveal his precious word and God’s thoughts towards you. You are blessed beyond measure. No turning back. No feeling insecure or unwanted. You are loved by God. A man or woman who is convinced about Jesus will share this with others and this is how we win souls.
