Pushing Through Failure

and erase this deep stain on my conscience.

For I’m so ashamed.

I feel such pain and anguish within me.

I can’t get away from the sting of my sin against you, Lord!

David had sinned and was feeling ashamed of what he had done, but the point is, David did not stay in his sin. He went to the Father to get forgiveness so he could go forward and do what God had called him to do. He was a forward thinker. Yes he had sinned, but David did not want to remain a victim of his wrong doing. He knew he had a mission and he had to fulfill it. God required him to do so.

Family of God, is there anyone who has not sinned or failed in this life. No, not one. It’s not about the failure. It is not about how many times you fall down. It is about getting up and moving on. Do not have the mentality of a victim, you are not a victim, you are a victor in life. When you fail, go before the Lord and confess your sin, get up, dust yourself and keep going forward. You are loved and you are forgiven. The failure was just a detour, get back on your track and move forward. Go and do all God has called you to be. People are watching you as a mentor, wanting to be just like you. Do not let the failure have the joy of keeping you down. No, rise up. The bible says, a righteous man can fall seven times, but he will rise again. You are a winner in this life. God is with you and in you, you will overcome in the name of Jesus. Look beyond the failure to the success God has for you.

Failure is a stepping stone to your, success, it just reminds you of what you should not do. It is a cul-de-sac, turn around and go back to what God has called you to do. David did not stay in his failure, neither should you.
