“My heart overflows with a good theme; I address my psalm to the King. My tongue is like the pen of a skillful writer. Psalm 45v1 My heart is on fire, boiling over with passion. Bubbling up within me are these beautiful lyrics as a lovely poem to be sung for the King. Like a river bursting its banks, I’m overflowing with words, spilling out into this sacred story.”
We have a responsibility to think before we speak. We need to have our language renewed by the word of God in our lives. We want to change our lives? Then we have to be intentional about how we speak. The psalm says our tongue is like a pen of a skillful writer. The words we speak can create a peaceful environment as we take people into consideration before we speak. We have the power to speak life into people just by the words we use to communicate with them. When we have meditated on the word of God, the word becomes a part of our language with which we communicate. Actually, you do not even realise how much of the word you have on the inside of you until you communicate. The word just flows out of you. It becomes the wisdom with which you communicate.
As your language changes, so too does your life. The language of the word of God cultivates and develops your inner man. The words of God allows you to accomplish the will of God for your life. Your graceful speech brings peace into your environment and people look forward to hearing you. You are the wisdom the world needs.
