Strife : A Hindrance to Manifestation

“You are still worldly [controlled by ordinary impulses, the sinful capacity]. For as long as there is jealousy and strife and discord among you, are you not unspiritual, and are you not walking like ordinary men [unchanged by faith]”
Strife will stop the manifestation of God’s blessing from your life. You just cannot afford to have strife in your life. Strife in your life is dangerous, it is more potent that a virus. It is waiting to infect your life in ways you cannot imagine. The enemy loves for you to have strife in your life as it gives him a door to come in and attack, bring division, especially in families.
The enemy is no fool, he knows how powerful unity in a family is, so he tries his best to bring division and discord. When you are in strife, the spirit of God cannot move on your behalf. Actually, you are not even engaging the spirit of God in your life when you are in strife. Can you afford this?
Strife is the work of the flesh, do not allow it entrance into your life. Awaken unto Christ and his righteousness so you mature and become aware of the schemes of the devil. Strife encourages us to do things that please the flesh. Identify strife and deal with it immediately.
Whether at work or at home, do not allow yourself to get into strife. Recognize it and step away from it. Be deliberate in your decision that you will not involve yourself in strife, it is too costly. It will stop you on your progress of growth.
