Guarding Our Thoughts

Pastor Zubeda Sing · 2 min read

“His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened”
Rom 1v20-21

Our thoughts are the fruit of our minds, for good or for evil. How we think matters. The bible says, as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he. We are what we think. We receive what we think. We need to cultivate a good mind so we can produce good thoughts, which will result in a successful life.

We need to fix our minds on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. A good way to focus on Jesus, is meditate on the word of God. The word will give you a clean mind, a mind filled with faith and love. A mind that is filled with peace and in this peace, the creativity God has placed in you becomes more real each day. The wisdom of God prevails in your life and you begin to think productive thoughts, thoughts that will profit your life and your environment.

The enemy will try his best to bombard your mind with negative thougths, thoughts of fear, thoughts of anxiousness and every negative thing. You take charge of your mind and say to yourself, I refuse negative thoughts, I have the mind of Christ and I think good thoughts, I set my mind on Jesus the author and finisher of my faith. Nothing is impossible to you when you think these, kind of thoughts.
