The Blessing Peace

Peace is a blessing. It is part of our inheritance in Christ. As the scripture says, the Kingdom of God is peace, righteousness and joy in the holy Ghost.

Jesus came to give us peace, not as the world gives it, but his peace (shalom). The peace of God. Our God is the God of all peace. In the book of Philipians, we are told, we have peace that passes all human understanding. This peace is unexplainable, undeniable and full of grace. We are content even in the middle of chaos. There is just this peace on the inside of us, that we know that we know, that all is well because God has the situation in the palm of His hands.

Please do not allow fear or anxiousness to creep into your life. Everyone of us, everyday will be tempted to worry or be fearful of the unknown or maybe we do not know how something will work out. It is in this time, that we calm our hearts and hand the matter over to the Holy Spirit. Let the peace of God, guard and garrison your hearts and be still. Be still and know that God is God and he will come through for you. Do not let any situation spend your peace, it is far to expensive. In the currency of faith, your peace is what paves the way for you. Enter into his rest with peace and joy.
