Honour your Commitment

“Keep the charge of the LORD your God, [that is, fulfill your obligation to] walk in His ways, keep His statutes, His commandments, His precepts, and His testimonies, as it is written in the Law of Moses, so that you may succeed in everything that you do and wherever you turn, so that the LORD may fulfill His promise concerning me, saying, ‘If your sons are careful regarding their way [of life], to walk before Me in truth with all their heart and mind and with all their soul, you shall not fail to have a man (descendant) on the throne of Israel.’”
God is a man of his promise. He promised David that he would always have a descendent who would be king and surely it was kept even until Jesus, Jesus came from the line of David as promised by God.
I implore you family of God, never use your words lightly. If you promise something please fulfill it. If you commit to doing something, be a man/woman of your word and fulfill what you have promised. Never be known as a man/woman who never keeps their word. You are of your Father, your heavenly Father and he keeps his word, please keep yours.
If you are not in a position to fulfill what you have promised, please let the person know that you are unable to fulfill your promise so they are aware. There is nothing more disappointing than a person promising something and they never come through. The secret, think carefully before you commit to something and if you do make sure you fulfill and honour your commitment.
Your word or promise is heard so honour your word, even if it is a sacrifice to you. As I say this to you, I have to say, I try my very best to fulfill what I have promised otherwise it echoes in my mind to remind me that I have promised something so I need to fulfill it. Try to honour at all cost, the promises you have made.
