I Am a Witness

You will receive power and ability by the Holy Spirit to be a witness. In a court case where a crime has been committed, they look for witnesses to come and testify. The witness has to give a clear account of what they have actually seen. They must give accurate facts of the actual crime, where they were present. The account they give, gives credibility to the case and the facts are established where the criminals are convicted. It is the evidence of the witness that gives weight to the case.

In the same manner, we are witnesses to the goodness of God. We have evidence that Jesus came to save the lost. We have evidence that Jesus died on the cross and He rose again on the third day. We also know that He shed his blood that we might be made clean, justified, just as if we have never sinned. We have experienced the power of the Holy Spirit and we know that we know that we are the carriers of the presence of God. If people want to know where God lives, we can tell them that He lives in our hearts. How do we know all of this? We have had an encounter with God, we have heard his word and we have confessed that Jesus is the Lord of our lives. We have the ability to hear his word and understand his word. We experience fear but fear does not overcome us, our faith deletes the fear in our lives. We may experience doubts some time, but the doubt is eradicated by the faith of God that has been shed abroad our hearts. We have the comfort of the Holy Spirit and we have peace in our hearts even in the midst of challenges. We know that God is with us and for us.

A thriver is a witness to this world who is so in desperate need of Jesus Christ, they are in need of salvation and we will be able to convince them of their need of salvation.

Go and be a witness.
