Authority Over Sickness & Disease

All power and authority has been given to us by Jesus to drive out demons and heal the sick. On the cross, Jesus declared that “it is finished”. That is such an important statement to us as believers. Everything we will ever need in this life has been set aside for us. The money we need, has been proved, the wealth we need has been set aside for us. Included in this declaration of “it is finished” also lies the fact that we have power and authority over sickness and disease, because we are the healed of the Lord. Healing is our portion. We need never allow the devil to convince us that we have to accept the report of the world.

You may go to the doctor and he gives you a report about your heart or whatever you had gone to see him for. The moment you receive the report, please do not allow fear to enter your heart. You have to be determined in your faith and have unshakeable faith so that you respond to the report with faith and a mind that is clear on your status. You are the righteousness of God and as the righteousness of God, you have the blood bought right to perfect health. You have the right to speak to your heart, or any part of the body that is being challenged and command it to align itself to the word of God that says you are healed. You commit the problem to the Lord and lay hands on your body, you anoint yourself with oil and remind your body it is healed in Jesus, name. You can sit with your family in agreement and take communion to remind everyone of the benefit of healing that you as a family enjoy. When you go to church, you call on the elders and they will lay hands on you and pray the prayer of faith and together your faith with theirs will bring a manifestation of the healing power of God.

A thriver never accepts anything that is outside of the will of God. You are the healed of the Lord. Healing is your portion in this life.
