Healing Starts in the Mind

“The invalid answered, “Sir, I have no one to put me in the pool when the water is stirred up, and while I am coming [to get into it myself], someone else steps down ahead of me.”
This is the story of the man at the pool of Bethsaida. At this pool apparently there was an angel who would come down and stir the waters. The first person to enter the water would be healed. This man had been coming to this pool for a very long time so his mind could only conceive that his healing depended on the movement of the water and him being the first man to enter the pool, then only he could be healed. He did not recognize Jesus, the greatest healer of all. One word from Jesus would bring sustainable healing. He could not receive this so he was waiting for another movement of the water. Jesus set him straight in his thinking. He told him immediately to pick up his mat and walk. One word from Jesus healed this man. He could have stayed where he was because of his thinking but Jesus decided to give him a makeover by healing him despite his thinking.
Family of God, this healing is our portion and we need to walk in it. If you do have any misconception about healing please study the book of John and see how Jesus operated. Jesus is our healer and healing is his children’s bread. Partake of it.
A thriver may go through a season of sickness or disease but they know the source of their healing so sickness never has any dominion over them.
