The Strength of the Thriver
Pastor Zubeda Sing · 2 min read
“And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.”
The above scripture speaks of Peter and John at the gate beautiful. Peter told the man to look at him, not to receive a physical gift but to draw out of him what Jesus had put in. The power and strength of God. When the man looked at Peter he made a demand on the ability of God on the inside of Peter. He was then filled with strength and the ability to stand and be healed. It was the strength on the inside of Peter the Thriver. Had Peter not already received the download of Strength from the Lord, then there would be no divine exchange.
The Thriver is strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. The thriver is always joyful, because the joy of the Lord is his strength. The thriver understands that it is not by his own strength and ability that they are able to succeed and flourish in this life. The Thriver is full of and controlled by the Holy Spirit. The thriver’s life flourishes because of this divine connection with the Holy Spirit.
Family of God, we need to stay connected to the power of the Holy Spirit if we wish to be the healer to the sick people we meet. We need to be empowered by God’s strength so we too can reach out and impart strength to others. We are not saved for ourselves but to be a witness for Jesus in this life.
