Anointed to Be Joyful
Pastor Wesley & Yajhna Sing · 1 min read

“And Nehemiah continued, “Go and celebrate with a feast of rich foods and sweet drinks, and share gifts of food with people who have nothing prepared. This is a sacred day before our Lord. Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the LORD is your strength!””
Joy, like peace is a fruit of the spirit. Nehemiah comforted his people and asked them to keep their joy and not lose heart, for the joy of the Lord is their strength. Choose joy over depression and dejection. Refuse to be depressed no matter what. Keep your joy up all the time. Listen to praise and worship music to build yourself up. Sing and dance before the Lord in your home. At work if there is a sad moment or conflict, treat yourself during your lunch break to some music. The joy of the Holy Spirit is an anointing that empowers you and strengthens you for the task at hand. The joy of the Lord gives you a spring in your step and overcome anything.
