The Fruit of Joy
Pastor Zubeda Sing · 2 min read

“Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory”
Peter is writing to people who had never seen Jesus with their eyes, and he says they rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory. That tells us something important about joy. It is not produced by what we can see. It is produced by believing. If joy depended on sight, every difficult week would empty us.
Joy is a fruit, which means it grows, and it grows where it is fed. Feed it with the Word, with thanksgiving, and with the company of people who build you. Happiness waits for circumstances to improve; joy does not wait for anything. Please guard it, because it is medicine to your body and strength for your day.
I choose the fruit of joy for my life and I will not let anything or anyone steal my joy. Joy brings health and healing to my life. I live a joyful life.
