Waiting With Patience
Pastor Zubeda Sing · 2 min read

“For the vision is yet for the appointed [future] time It hurries toward the goal [of fulfillment]; it will not fail. Even though it delays, wait [patiently] for it, Because it will certainly come; it will not delay .”
The vision will come in God’s perfect time; wait patiently.
Waiting is not passive; it’s active preparation for the fulfillment.
Use the waiting period to strengthen your roots and structure.
The vision is for an appointed time. There is a perfect timing in God, so we have to wait patiently for the manifestation of the dream and vision. This vision may be burning passionately in our hearts. It may align itself with the will of God, yet, we have to wait for the appointed time.
The waiting is not passive. This means we do not have to sit around and do nothing in the waiting, we have to actively prepare for the fulfillment of the vision. An example of this is the building of a facility, perhaps a church or business property. We have to first get money to purchase the property. We have to then get plans drawn up and approved before we can have the facility built. We then have to have sufficient finances to cover the cost of the building and completion of the building. All of this takes time and patience. The patience is the in between of the vision and the manifestation of the vision. If we are too hasty, we get ourselves into financial problems and are prone to fall victim to scammers who promise something we want to hear, but is too good to be true and we are caught in a trap. Patience is a developed skill, worked in us by the holy Spirit. It takes courage to wait, like the scripture says, having done all, to stand. It is in the waiting for the fulfillment of the vision that we are most likely to fall into temptation, so we have to stay focused on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.
We have to use the waiting time to strengthen our roots and structure. We need to take the time to fellowship with God and hear his voice more clearly. We need to get sound advice from men and women who are skilled in the area of our dream and vision. We need to find help and grace to stand and be patient. It is easier said than done, but in the waiting, we mature and get stronger in faith.
