The Words of a Thriver

Pastor Zubeda Sing · 2 min read

“A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger. The tongue of the wise useth knowledge aright: but the mouth of fools poureth out foolishness. Prov 15 v1 A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth: and a word spoken in due season, how good is it!”
Prov 15v23

The Thriver places a premium on their words. They are not quick to speak or quick to get angry. They are good listeners. This is not something that has developed over night. The thriver has taken the time to allow the Holy Spirit to cultivate the language of the word in the heart of a thriver. The thriver is not afraid, nor does the thriver want to be liked, when they speak, they weigh their words carefully, taking into consideration the person they are speaking to.

The scripture above says, a soft answer turns away wrath. The thriver understands how important a decent two way conversation is. He pursues peace, so even if he is angry, he holds back the anger so that he can communicate effectively with the person with whom he is dealing. The thriver uses their knowledge wisely and would rather practice the spirit of understanding to keep the communication lines open. There are things the thriver would like to say and they are justified in saying so but in weighing the situation, the thriver chooses the way of peace and a soft answer.

The thriver speaks a word in its season and is an encourager to every man or woman they meet. The thriver delivers on promises made. Their words are like choice silver, always bringing healing. Thrive in your speaking.
